As part of the listing process of babywear where it is identified in the Category Compliance Requirements (below), you must provide a recent test report confirming compliance with standards.


Furthermore, any claims such as greenwashing claims about a product must be supported by a report or claim substantiation certificate from manufacturer/supplier (wherever applicable) and you may refer to our Marketplace Advertising Guidelines for more information. 

 

Baby Bunting will conduct regular audits and may request additional information to verify the safety and compliance of your products. If this information is not provided within a given timeline, Baby Bunting has the authority to remove your products from our website under clause 4.5 of the Marketplace participation agreement.


Test Report and Compliance Document Criteria: 

  • Please note that the compliance and safety standard test reports submitted should not be more than three years old.
  • The reports need to be in AU format/standards or in a format that suffices AU standards.



BABY/CCTV MONITORS

Mandatory Requirements


  • For the monitor: Provide a test report showing compliance with the Australian variation: AS/NZS 62368.1:2022
  • If it is Bluetooth: Provide a Bluetooth license agreement document
  • For the adaptor: Provide the registration number on GEMS (Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards)
  • For the Power Supply: Provide a test report for the pins of the power supply tested to AS/NZS 3112 Amendment 1

Mandatory Requirements


Submit test report showing compliance with any of the following standards: 
  • AS/NZS IEC 60825.1:2011 or 
  • AS/NZS IEC 62471:2011  or 
  • IEC 62471-5:2015 Photobiological safety of lamps and lamp systems - Part 5: Image projectors

If it is battery powered: Submit a test report showing compliance with the following standards:
  • AS/NZS ISO 8124 1-3 (Safety of Toys) or Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003
  • AS/NZS ISO 62115:2018 (Electric Toys)

    or any of the Overseas standards:
  • Europe: EN 71-1:204 +A1:2018
  • International: ISO 8124-1:2022
  • US: ASTM F963-17
