Electrical Products | Compliance Guidelines

Under Australian and New Zealand Electrical Safety Regulations, certain electrical equipment must be issued with a certificate of compliance and be registered on EESS before it can be sold in Australia.

Where an electrical product is not mandated to be registered (Level 1 EESS and Non-Declared articles under NSW), Baby Bunting will nevertheless need to possess the required evidence to confirm the product is compliant to Electrical Safety and EMC Standards.

Baby Bunting will conduct regular audits and may request additional information to verify the safety and compliance of your products. If this information is not provided within a given timeline, Baby Bunting has the authority to remove your products from our website under clause 4.5 of the Marketplace participation agreement. 

Test Report and Compliance Document Criteria: 

• Please note that the compliance and safety standard test reports submitted should not be more than three years old.
• The reports need to be in AU format/standards or in a format that suffices AU standards.

• Certificate of Compliance (Safety)
• EMC Test (EN 55032 or CISPR 32)
• EESS Company Registration and EESS Equipment Registration. Provide the EESS registration numbers.
• GEMS Registration

    ELECTRONIC or TRANSFORMER TYPES DESIGNATED FOR USE WITH SPECIFIC ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

    WALL PLUG INCORPORATED IN THE ADAPTOR

    Mandatory Requirement

    The product must comply with the standard AS3112 plus amendment 1.
