How do I handle faulty products and warranty claims?

If a product purchased on Baby Bunting fails to meet a consumer guarantee, the customer has the right to ask for a repair, replacement, or refund under the Australian Consumer Law, depending on the severity of the issue.

We recommend obtaining photographic or video evidence from the customer to ascertain the issue/fault, which may avoid the time wasted over receiving and inspecting the return.

As a seller, it is your responsibility to provide one of the following remedies:

  • In case of a refund: You need to contact our customer service agent and we will refund the item.
  • In case of a replacement: You need to inform our customer service agent and provide delivery/tracking information for the replacement
  • In case of a repair: You need to dispatch the repaired products and provide delivery information

Please note that your returns policy should be detailed and defined properly to avoid any surprises later.
